Time to print our own guns

If you can afford the laser printing device and metal+power and federal licenses... sure have at. Cheaper just to go to the store and buy a 1911.

I'm sure that in a few years that the price for printers and material will go down

I don't think its a leap to think that they will make other guns then M1911 one day.

Again I'm just saying that with this technology its not a leap to believe someone will use it for the wrong purposes one day -.-

You can use the same idea for any gun and the cost vs time is still too much for machining your own version of X handgun or rifle. Only thing is replicating illegal versions and generic versions of expensive hardware would be the only advantage. That and you can do this already for cheaper. Read the back of SOF or any gun magazine. The ak-74 in my dad's room built from legal lowers and off market parts into a full auto was happening since 1990. That and the burst fire market parts for ar-15.

I have heard about this. I wonder if US gun laws will change because of this.

Can't remember where I heard this, but I think I heard that some guy in New Zeland(?) is trying to streamline the 3D printing process to make it as cheap as current printers today.

Thats going to take a while.
3D printers are extremely expensive right now.
