French is a silly language, it makes you sound like you have Downs, man.
That's why I only took one semester and not two.
Funny story: In my class, there was a guy named David, and from the first day to the very last day of class, the teacher pronounced his name the "French" way, which sounds like "Daa-vid." I bet it drove the guy nuts.
He could have just told her to call him Dave.
He was taking French. He obviously didn't have a whole lot of guts.
As a rule, I'd agree. But there is one guy I know who just took French because it was easier for him than the other foriegn languages the school offered. He's actually a pretty tough dude, and a United States Marine.
But that Dave guy, what a duche.
Well, I took French because it was either that or Spanish. I cannot speak Spanish, at all, so I opted for French. You know those rolling R's that are in every other Spanish word? Can't do them. Tongue's too lazy or something. I'd fail for sure. So, I understand taking it because of a lack of everything else. I think that's why most of the guys were in that class, too.
And yeah, David was a douche.
