You guys are just going about this the wrong way.
You come off as whiny, needy, and self-pitying.
Of course we're bullying. And of course there would be a sense of being something of 'an old boys club'. That's normal for any societal group.
You either fit in or you don't.
Trying to force a relationship just doesn't work, since it basically requires a lie from at least one of the people involved.
It's obvious that you guys are having trouble mingling with the regulars of IB, for the most part. And if you guys can't handle the abuse and bashing, it's best to move on to other areas.
You are, essentially, new kids on the block- and IB is the wrong side of the tracks.
It's true that not everyone outright hates you. Just like a regular street gang- some will be content to leave you alone as long as you don't get on their nerves- others require little in provocation, and just don't like the looks of you.
But what is true is that you've little in terms of friends here. My own stance is neutral- a little annoying, but I see no value in either beating you nor defending you.
CTFG is the nicer part of the neighbourhood, whilst the comments in the doujins are more of the Downtown city square. The rest of the forums can be explored, too.
You may very well have better chances of meeting kindred spirits there. You're always welcome to try here again- but don't wilt and complain if we're rough. It certainly doesn't help your case.
TL;DR - Get out. You're not currying any favour here. Try elsewhere, and then come back once you've wisened up a bit. It simply ain't working.
So that's how it's gonna be? Grow a thicker skin and post like the rest of us or fuck off until you do? That one hell of a motto to give to a new user slick.
Growing a thicker skin never hurt anybody.
In fact- that's kinda the point.
And it's not quite a case of bowing your head and conforming; We're not telling you what to post- just what not to post.
Setting boundaries and imposing a format are not the same thing.
Don't think that you guys are alone in getting picked on- we have Shinji, who's been here for God knows how long. A model shitposter who simply refused to leave- to the point where neg repping him became almost reflex.
Like I said- sometimes people just jive, sometimes they don't.
I don't hang out with these guys nearly as much, since I don't live near anyone and I don't use Skype, Steam, etc. but I get along with them quite well, because I'm usually able to determine when something can be interesting and funny to share, and when something is only interesting and funny to myself.
I also don't bitch and complain when I get neg reps or if people derail my topics.
Or take aggressive and irate stances against people and automatically adopt an "Us Vs. Them" attitude.
I was simply sharing my point of view and offering alternatives.
Your snappish reply is not helping your case.
