not really. temperatures here range from the low 20's to low 100's in Fahrenheit. Texas isnt anything like what it gets portrayed to be

Replace hot with flat. Like no hills anywhere, let alone a small mountain.

depends on where you go really, the coast and panhandle are quite flat, but you do hit elevated terrain more towards central Texas.

I live about a mile from the ocean and about ten miles from a mountain range full of redwoods. Not to mention a major fault line runs through said mountain range.
It's safe to say I'm topographically spoiled. :u
