Why does Arturia(any) have the dragon trait?

There are several reasons why.

1. The last name is probably the most popular reason as his/her full name is Arthur Pendragon. Pendragon means Dragons Head and was given to the most powerful person of that time.

2. Due to Excalibur making her nigh immortal they likened her to a dragon in human form since both were timeless creatures of great power.

3. In fate lore, Uther asked Merlin to imbue his heir with the power of a dragon. Just quoting the wiki for the detailed explanation here.
