Can't really compare since I haven't seen much of South Park before or now, but they're so-so from what I saw recently.

They've actually started getting better. It's become more current social satire than random plotlessness which is always a plus.

Humor is subjective, and every time they tried to do serious social satire they've failed. At times they can be right on the money, but I can't laugh.

I still enjoy them.
But yeah, very subjective. They're obviously doing something right to have 16 seasons

At the youtube comment section.... Someone is getting butthurt about it, this is not the first time that southpark parodied anime. that Episode where they parodied Pokemon and That Good times with weapons episode.

Fair enough, it isn't your cup of tea. Every once in awhile I cringe a bit too at an episode. Maybe if they spent more than 6 days on an episode it would be better. Then again, that's how they stay relevant.
