Not sure really. I just know that many people drop long running series. I just happened to be too busy to keep up weekly then forgot about. Then I just said screw it I'm done.

Anyone that says "screw it I'm done" obviously didn't much care for the series. And anyone that drops a long series just because its long is.... well thats one the dumbest things I have ever heard.

You're right, I didn't like Shippuden as much. Obviously I didn't say screw it, but as I had no idea what episode I was on (I think I was somewhere.....322? Are there that many out yet?) and little time I decided to drop it. I know I stopped right before the big war.
