Is asking the cook to make my sweet and sour pork less sweet and adding sriracha to it while cooking too 'Gweilo'? They're the only place that make it like i like without the hot paste. The others is batter to fuck and with pineapple which i hate.
I personally find that most sweet n' sour anything tends to be too sweet. (And really, ordering sweet and sour pork in America restaurants tends to be very Western anyways) Classic sweet and sour is actually straight vinegar and light amounts of sugar, not the
sick thick sauce you often see.
Reducing siracha is something I like to do often and really you should ask for a more "classic“ (If they know what I'm talking about) way, with more vinegar than ketchup and stuff.
