Anything, as long as it's not
twilight stupid. But on the other hand I haven't read a good fiction book in quite some time so just gimme any ol' fiction read.
Mary Wollstonecraft's
Frankenstein, The Modern Prometheus. My favorite book of all time. The original Victorian era tragedy of Frankenstein(or more accurately The Monster), if you weren't required to read this in your high-school curriculum do it now. "The road to hell is paved with good intentions".
I'm not familiar or particularly attached to LNs but Kagerou Days is fairly entertaining, and it's a great append into the rest of the material.
I hold the
Redwall series near and dear to my childhood(only a select few though). Essentially it's a bunch of anthropomorphic animals doing war in medieval times, it carries much of the attractive purity of child stories but man some of the battles are BRUTAL peeps get their skulls bashed in by maces, boiling oil searing flesh and Badgers are the Krogans of medieval times. Good bloody times.
