What is a good wine to cook with, but is in the more cheap range for a poor student like me?
Depends, keep like the red wine for dark meats and maybe as a sauce for white meats, white wines for fish, and either for vegetables/sides
Really just look up for flavor profiles, you dont want to use a dry wine with a meat that gets dry, you might want to go with something that has a fruitier flavor.
Don't used ones aged it oak barrels, or things like that, the simpler the wine the better.
