1. Well duh I was there.
2 and 3. I'm too lazy to actually do it, but I do think to almost every time I see such a sign!
4 and 5. True.
6. Not really... I'm more like, "Why are they even here???"
7. Quite correct.
8 and 9. Yup, indeed.
10. Not 'more jealous'. I simply don't understand why would any physics grad not be desperate to work at CERN!
11. Among those I wouldn't mind going gay for.
12. Yes and I did so many times. I take it back. I haven't done it enough.
13-01. I do but I found it annoying more than funny. Write the formula right smh.
13-02. ...and they nailed it.
14. Oh my those who wrote this must be physics grads themselves. (this joke is talking about simplifying assumptions very commonly used to make problems more solvable)
15. 14 suits me better.
16. No, I'd argue that Scho's equation is not what Maru should be worried about. It would observe his own state thus the whole superposition of states bull is, in this case, not an issue.
17. There were more but I didn't notice anyway.
18. ...and they nailed it again.
19. Yes, considering I found the show to be annoying within the first season.
20. I had to teach myself since I slept during the lectures, but yes.
21. Exactly. It makes things so much easier.
22. Yes, it's very messy. And it's the Langrangian for Standard Model, taking into account the interactions of well... everything inside the model. Strong force etc for quark, leptons, gauge bosons...
23. ...because I do think that all I need to do is just really sit down and try to take it on seriously. Which does mean more coffee.
24 - 26. Yes, and I still do feel it quite frequently now. But of course as much as I bitch about physics sucking or how I'm being masochistic by doing this crap and all that... I know that eventually I'll still stick around. And bitch about why I do that.
I suppose I just can't really consider doing any other field, no matter how attractive they might seem. I mean if I'm more stable in some other work, I'd have rolled down there since long ago.
Or maybe physics is just a quite deep local minimum that it's difficult to get out of? I dunno. But I really love and hate this damn field.
