yes gimp is addicting once you learn how to use it for a long time i kinda hated it since i couldnt figure anything out then i started to figure out little things and then with the tutorials that Xel provided me i figure out many more things and now i am addicted to it trying to improve at it and yes you could make animation with it though the quality of the pic drops
