I fail to see how that matters. The marriage thread consists of, or rather is supposed to only consist of, the proposals, weddings, divorces, thanks/cheers, and condolences. That's it. This sister thread was made to allow a place for the imminent chatting that is guaranteed to occur between the ever-changing subjects branching off of a proposal/marriage or a divorce. People talk. With such communication, of course there will be various conflicts, and such conflicts can lead to confusion, such as this situation for one.
Also, love leads to drama and vice versa. This is a constantly reoccurring fact of life.
