Now, I don't know your usual speed but 1MB/s isn't especially fast.

Edit: Also 500MB for a full length movie, lol, or is that the comic?

I had a slow net speed way back, and reaching speeds like that was very pleasing.

Now I have a 10mbps plan and I don't even know what to download anymore.
I also experienced a 1 GBPs speed once, it was like downloading with a fury of a thousand suns.

1GB of download takes me Half a day or through a Day, while 1GB higher usually takes 3days to a week...My Internet is slow as hell...haiist :(
