Fuck that. No, its a really old nickname I have used since I was like 7 or 8. Can't really rember where I picked it up from.

Heh :) I began using my nickname years back and somehow got stuck with it. It might change a bit, incase the nick is allready in use but in about 80 - 90% of all cases it is free :)

I was surprised that I could get the name without having to do anything to it.

Actually I think the things that stay the same for me on most forums I ever visited is my nick and my avatar. The thing that changes the most is my signature. Most likely due to holidays at the moment and or boredom when fixing the telephone bill with the phone organization because they again screwed up (yes happened a few times allready) and hanging in the "please hold the line" queue of doom.
I actually started to develop that habit at work when I was coordinating things between german and danish transport organizations. Whenever I was in a queue my employer was so nice to grant me the freedom to fire up Photoshop on my laptop and do whatever I wanted in that queue time.

The avatar I normally use (like the past year) is too big for the size rules and I don't feel like resizing it. So I use this one til I find a new one.

Just upload it on imageshack, let imageshack resize it to 100x100 and voila. That's what I did :) Saves time and let's imageshack do the job :D

True. Though if I look at other boards, the problem is quite ... obvious. Also those "Walls of sigs" i.e. having like 5 pictures down there all animated and around 1 - 2 mb, sucks for the mods to clean up once that starts.
