yup, had to bring mah eggs, kulich and easter cottage cheese to the church (no one calls it orthodox here btw) to get them and myself sprayed all over with holy water (the passing pope likes to spray it in the face idk why), and the usual olivier salad which is common for every celebration including new years and is usually made in large quantities so i still have plenty left

The reason why is because the catholics already celebrated easter like a month ago or something. Also, it seems that you celebrated easter differently from what I was used to during semana santa.

And you prolly didnt get what i meant dude, here it is orthodox, as in "adhering to the early church" like you see in eng wiki, right? but the same wiki in rus reads as "pravo-slaviye" translating to "right-praising" and ruskies say it like they dont acknowledge catholicism, while orthodox just implies another branch of cristianity.

Well, not really a journey. It's for work. The last time I went sailing, my route was the pacific crossing, Trading Japan / Korea / China then to Mexico / Panama / Colombia / Peru / Chile and Vise versa.
Semana santa is the Catholic's holy week, btw. Most South Am countries celebrate it + Flips.
