As for the news of Touhou 14, I honestly have a mixed feeling after seeing ZUN's 'improvement' in artistic department.

Eh, why? It's nice to see that his art style has improved a bit, and I can still tell it's ZUN art at first glance.

Just found an album by the band "Alice Music", called "Alice† Holic". Well, basically I just looked up the album in which "Can't release" (linked in the first post of this page) is, and found it there.

Apparently all songs are based on Alice themes.

All I'm seeing is that ZUN's improved greatly in decorations and color combinations. For character design however, they look even more 'round' than their counterparts in the previous installment. It's not really a bad thing as per se; like what you said, we can tell it's ZUN art at first glance. Improving style is a good thing, but improving while staying true to your original style is a great thing.

What do you think about the interface design? It looks like Ten Desires' to me.

Well, then we agree that it isn't all that bad of a change - it's not too much of a drastic change in style yet. I guess we'll have to see how his art progresses after this.

Interface wise, it does look similar to TD. One thing I noticed is that it doesn't seem to have any additional meters, such as cherry points or trance gauge - but that's likely to change when more is released about it.

I finally got around to draw another one of my original Touhou characters.

There is no possible way for Reimu to get fat. The boundary's balance is weak against obesity.

Reimu, Marisa, and Sakuya's individual weapons have suddenly started acting on their own. On top of that, the Youkai who are usually quiet and subdued have suddenly started rebelling. Will the three oppose their own weapons or abandon them?

Cool. Devils Recitation looks like Byakurens last word too. Too bad it wasn't Flying Fantastica. Its good that Buddhism and Taoism will have serious people in them. So its almost certain now that either one of the three Moriya's will be playable as well. Really hoping for Kanako.

I'm going to be processing to get out of Okinawa and move to Tokyo starting this month, so unfortunately I won't be able to take a leave pass to travel to this year's Reitaisai. :( However, I will make every effort possible to attend winter Comiket, which would be my first ever. owo
