I don't visit /b/ that often anymore, but I found that thread better than some of the other threads in IB.

Anyway, have something to share about Touhou again ? I decide to spent my free time here for a moment.

Cleared EoSD with normal difficuly a few times, with 3 continues (duh!) Shooters weren't really my forte because I seem to lose concentration at times.

Who was the one you used at the time ?

Marisa Kirisame, with Master Spark used as the bomb. Did you find out it's damn powerful compared the other spell cards?

Yes, but I won't say the same for its efficiency. I finished EoSD with MarisaA (the stars card).

Let's just say, you will choose MarisaA for self-defense, and you will use MarisaB to finish the game quicker.
I will choose self-defense because I am weak against Remillia's "Red Magic"

Could you change spell cards during the games?

I usually spam the bombs when I couldn't figure out how to dodge the danmakus.

Of course you cannot change the spellcard, lol.

What I meant by self-defense is the bomb's duration.
Ex. When you use Master Spark, it will dealt a great damage to the boss, but don't you think the method is simple and the duration is too short ?
Whenever I use MarisaA's Bomb, the duration is longer than Master Spark's. Within the duration, I can try to to search for the most appropriate position to shoot Remi and dodging bullets at the same time.

Keyword : Duration.

Ok thanks, one of the other spellcards I actually like is Reimu's Homing Amulet because of the auto-targetting function.

Though her homing bullets will work best in Remillia's Red Magic, seriously.

And if we're talking about bombs, it depends on who the bomb is used at in my opinion. Keine, for example, has cards that can rape players who take their time flying around the screen so duration is best. Mokou on the other hand needs to be killed immediately.

IMO I think everybody needs to be defeated easily ASAP >.>

Kisume is the stage 1 midboss of Subterranean Animism. As a midboss with no dialogue and a sparse official profile, little is known about her. In the events of Subterranean Animism, she attacks the heroine on her way to the underground by dropping on her. She is disposed of quickly.

# Kisume is a rather shy youkai who usually spends her time in buckets. She is often seen in dark places such as caves or wells.

# Tsurube otoshi (lit. bucket dropper) are a type of youkai believed to have originated in the Chuubu region of Japan. They usually live atop trees, and when humans come close to the tree a bucket or a severed head drops down and eats them. They are also sometimes depicted as flaming spirits.Moreover, the meaning "The sunset of autumn is instant" has the expression of "Aki no hi wa Turube otoshi(An Autumn Day is the one like the dropped bucket.)" in Japanese.

Yamame is the Stage 1 boss in Subterranean Animism, inhabiting the entrance to the underground. During the events of Subterranean Animism, she mistook the heroine as a youkai from the surface and attacked; she was defeated quickly.

# Unlike most boss characters in Touhou, Yamame has a rather bright personality and wouldn't carelessly misuse her ability. Being able to manipulate illness causes youkai and humans alike to despise her, and she is relatively well known in the underground. However, youkai who actually know her tend to like her a lot because of her personality.

# According to Aya, earth spiders in particular are quite strong and good at architecture. They accomplish this with their thin-but-strong string.

# The name Kurodani is written with characters that mean "black valley". Yamame may be written as "山女" (lit. mountain girl), which refers to a mythical demon in Japanese folklore.
