Also, I just read the one from Asatsuki-dou. Good read, nonetheless. But somehow .. I find Shino's Meiling is more realistic than Asatsuki's one.

Yeah, I agree with you there, although I thought that it was interesting that Remilia basically had to make Hong a civilized creature. It was wild to see her from how she was before to the Hong that we all know, (and hopefully all love).
