But then again, I frankly cannot see Reimu defeating Sanae in that field yet. Even though the latter isn't actually a shrine maiden, at least her Gods are very active and competent. To add, it's also the matter of personalities. Don't know about you, but I'd rather see Reimu being Reimu forever and Sanae being Sanae. In short, Sanae would need a reason that's not related to Reimu in any sense, so she could be a playable character. That's the safest idea in my opinion.
Speaking of Byakuren, she would be a good mentor for Marisa too. Although I have to admit that Byakuren is rather naive to be a leader, her charisma is in no way comparable to higher figures such as Miko and Kanako too, despite of them being the leaders for their respective faction.
