Figured it'd be relevant to post here too, since this thread is up now, and the yaoi thread's going down. Copy paste from the last few pages of there.
Not really into full blown yaoi (yet), only some traps and what not, but if it's alright with every regular in the thread, I'd like to take the time to pay some respects to the legendary abgrund artist Yusa Saikawa's trap yaoi career, which was unfortunately cut short due to excessive criticism from the public and colleagues alike. So harsh was the backlash of making such doujins, that it actually had an adverse effect on her physical health for the longest time. She still continues to make the same high quality doujins, albeit heterosexual with at least C-cup girls, but it was a hard hit to fans of the tag/genre. I, for one, hope Saikawa-san has made a full recovery from all that shit, and hope she's the last person who ever needs to change what she creates with her hands just because the rest of the world doesn't like it.

This is sad.... sad indeed. How dare they put her through so much simply because of her art! My heart goes out to her and I too hope she makes a full recovery from that mess as well....
Really is, I read up on some of her works (didn't realize she was behind my favorite Maria+Holic doujinshi's). She put a lot of feeling into her previous work, I can see how much she enjoyed it, and to have people criticize her into poor health for it. Really sad.
