Sorry that something that helps support of cancer prevention research off of people just speed running games looks boring to you.

The cause is great, but I see these quite often where people livestream for charity. It's good you're supporting though!! But for me, streamers don't interest me. I just make donations on official websites.

You know this one of the few things Gamers can say: "HI, LOOK WHAT PEOPLE PLAYING VIDEO GAMES FOR 168 HOURS DID!" Seeing how fucking looked down on we are a lot of the time with all the bullshit with "Video games is what wrong with kids today".

Anytime I see a "official" one going on they only pull about 200k-400k, these guy always, always pull 1m - 2m everytime they do this, and they only do this two times a year, unlike a lot live streams you're talking about that do it every few months or so. AGDQ is way that started happening for the most part.
I will never donation to a "official site" But I'll freely throw $20-$50 at AGDQ because to me they are the the "official"

As someone that been playing video games for 15 years this, this is one of the few things I look forward to every god damn year, this, SGDQ, and EVO.

I have doubts sometimes when gamers + donations come together. I can say with experience where one guy only donated 25% of donation and kept the rest for himself.
For me I make a weekly donation but don't get narcissistic or brag to everyone about it.

ffs this is a charity event. money is going into saving people's lives. why get so anal and critical about it just because "ooo I do it more straightforward, I don't need some stinking games to show off and beg for money"
