Yeahh... that's usually the dumb part. My friend had a situation where he threatened to move away from his parent's home if they didn't stop treating him so poorly (HEAVY favoritism toward younger siblings). They treated him right for a short while, but for some reason it's slowly reverting back to their original behaviour. Next time, he said, he's leaving unannounced. He already had an idea where to go.
