[color=#006FFF]I've come to the conclusion that no one cares about artistic passions of others around the forums on here, whether its in the traditional sense of or art (e.g. drawing, painting, etc.) or even in the sense of writing and story-telling. Not enough to regulate the sections often anyway. Activity used to be relatively moderate in both sections years ago but over time they died majorly. It's actually resulted in my just losing interest in bothering to share my art in my thread since it just turned into me multi-posting consistently. At least back before the forums were "renovated" I could see the views go up to tell that people were actually checking things out but after that went away, I assumed there was little to no activity in the section outside of the artists themselves and that's boring.

I don't care, because I don't want to spend my time reading work done by amateurs.

Especially the fact that the disappearance of the view count makes everything look dead.

[color=#ff69b4]I've always liked card games, but I never got into the M:TG games because everyone I know say the games for them are pretty bad and it's something you should play the real thing for.

I've been playing Hearthstone for a long time. I ended up getting into the beta. It's fun and I like it, I just need to start putting more time into it like I used to.

What do they mean by that?

The online version is really watered down with limited deck building and all that jazz.

If you mean MTGO, it's just as deep as doing it in real life. If anything, it's usually more convenient (if it isn't buggy beyond belief, lol).
If it's the video games you mean, yeah, decks are pretty limited in what you can customize.

I guess that just ruins it for some people. MTGO is my only option thou as no one here plays the real deal.

Most of the people I know that play M:TG and have gotten the video games for them just ended up telling me that their not very good and are for the most part not very nice to people who are new to M:TG. So for the most part people just tell me if I want to get into M:TG that I should just go out and play it at a card shop or something over playing the ones on steam.

I'm not calling M:TG bad, blink. I would never say something I have never played is bad. Just at the time before Hearthstone was in beta I was looking into playing M:TG and everyone told me that they were not very good is all.

It does ruin some of the creativity that makes the deckbuilding aspect of the game so much fun. It's supposed to keep it simple for the people just getting into the game, though.

I thought the games were alright as a learning tool. M:tG is a kinda complex game, but it lined it with tutorials so someone could understand all the things that are going on.

[color=#ff69b4]I know when I started to play HS one of my friends gave me I think it was the 2013 M:TG game I played it for about 2 hours then went back to HS xD

For curiosity's sake; which RPs do you tend to end up reading?

Awww... did you ever try to go back to it? I promise it's a fun game once you get the hang of it... =)
