People staying over afterthe party, making me sleep in the spare room and watch over two kids that pretty much demand my constant supervision ergo I had to wake up around 8am after not getting to sleep until 12 to 1am. Curse you parties that turn into more than I bargained for.

Really though, it was okay. Saw some family friends and aunts. Invited a friend over but she couldn't make it so that was a bummer but eh. Better to ask and be denied than not at all. Really though, I'm just tired as hell after it all--mostly from the aforementioned babysitting, so I look forward to passing out and sleeping into a quiet morning tomorrow.

@CO2; I don't do beer and I didn't really think to drink the wine that was there. I'm probably more of the type to drink "at special occasions" than anything and since it went from being a party to more of a family gathering to a babysitting session, I had little to no urge to drink. If the said friend showed up than I'm sure she and I would have partaken in some drinking though for fun.

[color=#006FFF]Not too sure how being a social coward relates exactly but over the years I've made it a point to grow more sociable as time goes on since I never really liked how shy I was; probably the moment that made me think that the most was back in middle school when the typical "hot chick" in my class came to ask me for help in something and I felt my face flush and I was stuttering here and there, sweating. Ugh, it was awful because I covered all the tropes of that "nerd kid who's shy around girls". Then some years later, some of my best friends are women and I have no problem talking to them. IF anything, I enjoy social events where I can meet people now; it's fun. -yay for learning how to behave like a normal person-
