For all of the awesomeness of a Jewish thanksgiving, it sadly means that you are subject to the kosher whims of the host. So, no pork for me this year. The turkey, however, was dry-brined and tasted absolutely amazing.
I had a second thanksgiving in which we had two turkeys. One that was baked and another one that was fried. It was the first time I ever had fried turkey and it was delicious. You guys should try it one day... It's sooo much superior in taste compared to a baked turkey. The only downside is that it's pretty unhealthy for ya.
