1) The original one insinuates that you suddenly are afflicted with bad memory, as in it's either short, foggy or you can't recall anything at all.
2) The one you were looking for is that, as you didn't like Saki very much, recalling it isn't a very pleasant experience i.e. they are bad memories.
2) is wholly different from 1). Just because they are both linked to memory/memories, it doesn't mean they merely multiplications of another.
