444 is actually a very unlucky and avoided number in Chinese culture.

I think I remember hearing that somewhere, but I forgot why it's bad.

Four in Chinese is pronouced as si, 四， which also happens to be the pronounciation for the word die, 死. That is why people rarely have car license plates with repeating 4s.

Makes more sense to me than why people don't like the number 666 here or 13.

I like the number 13 for some reason... and my mobile number ends with 666.

I forgot why 13 is bad.

Just associated with bad luck, entirely superstitious.

13 was always associated with bad luck, but in Western culture that only really exploded when King of France had all the Knights Templar arrested and tortured on the same day, which was Friday the 13th.

Given that the Templars were previously the paragons of Christianity, were spectacularly wealthy (they invented corporations) and were among the best Knights in all of Europe, it made people think.

The 3rd Season is time-paradox due to the appearance of Mother Demon. That's why several part of Season 3 retelling about Season 1 and 2, plus the continuation of them (the appearance of Empire, for example).

I suspect that Linia in Crux is about the time she's manipulating Jaina and all...
