First off, who the hell doesn't want a sexy ninja? Secondly, I do question exactly how good of a ninja she is, seeing that she always gets caught, but she is a ninja none the less. While Lucy's attempts to use sex appeal fails often in the series, not the case outside of it XD. A girl with the courage to step away from the life she knew in order to live the way she wanted. Goes through a lot of tough moments through the series, but hangs in there. Someone who will put herself on the line for those she cares about. Really easy choice here.
