It's kinda sad, but sometimes there are people (like me) that can't afford any new games or gaming consoles, so watching other people play them is the next best thing lol.

Personally, all I have is a PS2, a DS, and a GBA emulator

Yeah, I guess I can understand that. After a while though I'd just get annoyed that I can't play it myself.

It definitely is a HUGE tease, but to me it's more enjoyable compared to wanting to play and knowing you can't. Sometimes I even pretend that I'm the one playing while watching gameplay videos

Damn I couldn't do that. I saw the price tags for the new systems and was like screw this I'm out. I'll just stick with my 360.

I've watched a few friends' streams and it's quite fun. Sure I'd rather play the game myself but chatting with others, or the host directly is pretty neat. Especially if said stream is just to fuck about.

Last time he played a modded Oblivion. He flew about on a Dragon (not the WyvernSkyrimDragons, a Western Dragon) and I told him to kill random named NPCs.

If its to fuck around, I can understand that. I don't get the ones where the host is just playing the game for real.

Short, simplified answer. It's the same thing as if you were watching a sport but the player himself were commentating.
