Yeah, it adds well to and reinforces the idea that she's being completely dominated or overstimulated. I agree that it should be believable, though. Which is nice because there so many ways of doing it, tentacles, monsters, ogres, gang bangs, or just intense cunt contorting.

Ahegao in doujins is great because it's a good visual cue that the girl is enjoying it at least as much as we do. In real life you have to be able to read subtler cues, with the dreaded fact that some girls may be faking it.

Doujin girls never fake it. They're a lot more honest.

Getting back on topic, some artists tend to draw "ahegao" themed works rather well. Perhaps they possess talent for such works, but I believe their skills are developed over time through practice. As not as the image isn't too messy, I am fine with such a genre.
