Where do other Fakku members order their Doujinshi?

I want to import some doujinshi, but I can never seem to find a reliable place to buy content from the artists I like. Where do you guys usually import from? Is it reliable and trustworthy?

I usually get mine from local conventions, but Otaku Republic has gotten me some good books, they are expensive though normally so be prepared to pay.

doujinrepublic.com is a very good one that I use. Prices are pretty good but they can be a little high but you don't pay any shipping which is a plus.

Are doujinshi stapled or glue binded? and how about the print quality and size?

I bought all three Mizuryuland doujinshi from ProjectH at AX 2016 and thought it was great and loved the quality of the paper too. I payed about 15 bucks for each one but I loved it since I'm a huge Mizuryu kei fan. I don't know if the doujinshi I bought is of better quality or if all doujins are like the one I bought.

Anyways, whats the shipping ETA when ordering from otakurepublic?

Main doujinshi I'm looking for is all of the Sailor Moon doujins by Mizuryu Kei and Shima-Hen with the Idolmaster Girls by Takemura Sesshu.

Answer is it depends. I have both, but usually they're stapled. The big circles can afford the glued book binded ones but i haven't seen many. Usually all the comiket and convention doujinshi are b5 size(7x10). Quality varies. Lately they are better but it's all on who printing and the rush. Top circles are printed on good paper but you will see different rushed prints.

I think I will try ordering from doujinrepublic. I really really want quite a few doujins in physical form. Hope I don't order too much lol.

Most new Comiket stuff shows up on Toranoana a few days/weeks after the actual event. They now can ship overseas via a middleman company Tenso (http://www.toranoana.jp/info/shop/tenso/english.html). I've commissioned a few scans before and it seems some people like to use Celga as well to get doujinshi from Japan to the U.S. Your mileage may vary, though, depending on your fluency in reading Japanese.

I usually get mine from Mandarake, they have good prices, most are around 500 yen for a A4 Doujinshi but some can start for around 200 yen, they have a huge range of books and ship from Japan. Though all the books are all in Japanese. Hope this helped a bit.
