Time I meet some people on fakku in person. Last time I did that was back in 2011 at otakon.

I'm already committed to going to A-kon 27, but AX is a whole month later so I might be able to drop in on Fri/Saturday.

Totally depends on how much $$$ I'll have then and how willing I am to drive 4+1/2 hours to LA.

Nah. It's just a closed venue. It's shittier this year. Not even a maid cafe made it to the con.

Pic related is a rough sketch of the most recent anime con I've been to. Wasted around 8 bucks just to get inside and see merch. No cafe. No TCG's. No big sponsored events. Just merch.

Like Cruz says, it's way too close to A-kon Dallas. Wallet hurts after that. I hear the lines are a bitch as well. I've always wanted to go too.
