Cool I actually don't know a lot about the Victorian age, as it wasn't a big interest in the past, but since I have the game and am learning about the game, it gets me interested. During the Victorian age there was a long piece in Britain and a lot of industry as well as a change in government and the colonization of Africa by world powers. I wouldn't mind a say anime during that time 'cause most anime character have well white skin most of the time. So it would work they just should change there names to say British and learn of the culture at the time. If they wanted to the could try some of the other powers at the time.

Gosick is a victorian style anime.

I'm not sure 1924 is Victorian as the character's would have to be during Queen Victoria, also japanese exchange students don't happen at all during that time. Which makes it odd, also the character is Japanese and therefore will be under the culture of Japanese.

Well it's anime, so that's as close as you'll get. A VN would probably do it better.
No, sorry. I only pointed it out because it's the closest any anime is to victorian life.

It's all cool, after all I doubt many Japanese would care to do such a time so even one is pretty good. But if someone were to do a more deep anime that is in the time of Victoria people probably wouldn't care, they want Tsunderes, Ecchi, and samurai most of the time, not all of course but most. It makes me sad....

Don't forget moe. Which wouldn't fit too well into a serious victorian anime.

Indeed, is clumsy under moe as well? Man, if only people were more aware of history and cared about it more. Also literature and poems would probably help.

Though the victorians aren't exactly... "shy" when it comes to sex though.
I've watched a lot of period dramas to get a good jist of it all.

Put the point is there is no sex you have the classes of citizen you have trade and colonization as well as Great Britain, do people honestly need sex in a show to make it good? If so than it is probably not, also I want to see how a yandere would do.
