Okay, just for database clarification,
Suzumoto Mayu, does
not have any yandere tendencies. She's actually a very sweet girl.
Shinozaki Ayumi does act like a yandere, but only at the very end for one scene.
The next two spoilers contain images of the characters, no spoilers are in them.
Yandere yes
Yandere no
Also, since we're on the topic of Corpse Party,
Corpse Party Blood Drive comes out this year. I only have a PSP, not a Vita....so I will not be able to play it. Dammit.
Oh yeah I know Mayu isn't yandere,
she dies really early in the game
at least in the version I played. For me, she seemed like the least important character. I won't be able to play it either, I'll just look for a let's play or something.
I don't think a "Let's Play" can capture the energy of Corpse Party. It just isn't the same. I'm sure the same could be said for all games, that they should be played in person, but the feeling that
you might fuck up and have to redo the last half hour isn't something that can't be emulated.
As for Mayu, she's important and unimportant at the same time. Technically, without her, the game wouldn't have started. She also
made Morishige go insane and kill himself.
Oh yeah, forgot about Morishige, for me I just didn't have any reason to care about her, are you a fan of Mayu? 'Cause to me, I just didn't really feel anything when she died, other than why would you talk to a ghost?
Do others consider Ayami yandere? Also Morishige was already insane, before it started, Mayu just helped keep it hidden.
Also don't forget it's mostly a puzzle game so that is even worse you can spend 50 or so minutes and know it was all for nothing.
Ayumi didn't show any yandere tendencies until that scene. Sure, she kept saying "Mochida-kun" this and that, but apart from her possesed episodes, she was perfectly normal.
As for Morishige, you're right. He was trying to keep himself sane completely the wrong way. His insanity is pretty obvious. In Tortured Souls, they change his death. Well actually, they show it. All that is known about his
death in BC is that once he found out about Mayu, he jumped out a window.
Even then, they never made it 100% clear about it.
I'm not a fan of Mayu. In fact, I like one of the spirits, Kanno Yuki. Besides her....I don't really have a favorite character in Corpse Party.
Also don't forget it's mostly a puzzle game so that is even worse you can spend 50 or so minutes and know it was all for nothing.
I know that feeling all to well ;~;. Chapter 5 was a real bitch. Chapter 4 was a little tough too.
