Ladies and gentlemen, I'm not going to observe every pick to be sure the rules are being followed, it's not like I'm warned the second someone drops the ball by text message on my cell, I also don't plan on waiting for 10 minutes to see if they ninja edit. It's simple; claim the character properly or risk having it go to someone else (even if it is just for the lulz). Coco you made mention of the fact that this has only happened to two chatroll friends of yours but I will remind you that it's two chatroll people who have opened themselves up to it by improperly claiming their waifu in the first place. The rule was designed to create a form of "gold rush" feel to each big name claim; if you aren't willing to go through the trouble then don't play the game. The 48 hour rule is fine as it is and accomplishes the tasks I set forth; it will not be changed unless I'm given an idea I believe to be of greater value to the game and it's community as a whole(not just one specific user group). I will remind everyone once again this is just a game; there is no reason to get upset by anything done here and if you do find yourself annoyed or angered by anyone or anything you should take a break. I must also remind everyone that no one should lose rep for this thread... when you do you insult the very ideals this game represents; a good time and fun for all.
Waar, why bother producing this thread if you're not willing to monitor it like Jonoe is? Sure, you can sit by and help but I don't see you updating much. I see Jonoe doing it.
Hrmm? jonoe takes his time to update the list as well, I don't understand what makes you think i check this thread any less than he does? Also, who are you to question me for my dedication, I havn't taken any time off nor have I missed more than a weeks worth of claims other than when I moved.

To make a huge tl;dr post about how you're not going to closely monitor the rules isn't necessary. Just say that you have a life and you're not able to be at two places at once and/or you have priorities higher than FAKKU!, chatroll, etc. True, Skyler didn't properly label the claim but two other people aided him. Straydog coincidentally swooped in and claimed her without any question. It's the same situation as putting something on a shelf whilst searching for the money to pay for it, only to have someone walk by and take it. While it was in your possession at the moment, someone comes by without feeling and takes it away. Straydog never made any effort to ask Skyler if the claim was up for grabs.
I could have said I didn't have time and I had a life outside of these forums but that is not the reason I'm not doing it; the reason is as I stated, the suggestion of a new rule Kaimax came up with is ridiculous and impossible to supervise. I am more than willing to entertain suggestions but I won't accept a rule which has flaws for both the community and myself. Also as far as stray dog is concerned what he did was perfectly legal, I stated that the rules were not followed during the claim, and skyler did not correct the problem in time, why would stray have to ask skyler if the claim was "up for grabs" I clearly stated it was.

It isn't a "good time and fun for all" when someone cold-heartedly claims someone else's waifu while they were making the effort to claim them. We are contributing and making rules, temporary or otherwise, to better the thread. All you do is project your own ideals. This isn't neutral to me. We're looking too far into it because no one else will. I don't see you asking Straydog or any other perpetrator to stop. It is obvious that if Straydog had a problem with this, that he would have consulted me, M2, or anyone else who had a problem with his actions.
What do you all assume the girl in question was skyler's, he didn't follow a base rule for this game. It's the same as when prowl lost the LS girl, it wasn't his girl to begin with. You can "make" all the rules you want but it's my game coco, so everything you "make" is just a suggestion and as none of your suggestions have been quality ones I have chosen not to take any. Why would I ask stray dog to stop? he followed the rules for his pick; if anyone else had done the same thing the result would have been the same. Also i'm not sure what your "if stray dog" had a problem with this" point even means; I never said anything of your treatment towards him other than the derep which he received(and I corrected).
One thing I have noticed: TMS was right; you do seem to be trying to start drama for no reason. Again I must ask you to take your drama elsewhere.
edit: bravo Das, saying what I wanted to say with less words and a far nicer tone... Have I told you how much I appreciate you lately?
