those who don't listen will be held out for a round, it's why I gave soo much warning (a months worth), I'm going to check users with close to 150 posts and if they spammed in a short time period they can sit out round one.

By spam do you mean posting a lot in a short period of time, even though what I posted contributes to the thread, or just posting useless text that has nothing to do with the thread to gain lots of posts?

well... I did allow for one month, users should be able to go from 50 to 150 in a month without spam, but i'm going to check content of posts as well. If all i see are poeple going into threads and simply posting "i agree" or "this is a good post" then I will count those as spam. I'd like to see some contribution. But please people; there is still about two weeks for you to all get out there and post, don't make me regret this reset before we even start.

2 weeks is definitely plenty of time to get posts up without having to spam. i was a little leery to do so for a while when we had the rep system, and angry users having a penchant to de-rep comments they don't like (i think someone had -85). but for me i can see doing 20-40 meaningful posts in a day, and with 2 weeks or so that would put me at 280-560 by then if i'm active. its doable as long as ur not completely lazy.

rememeber people IB does not count toward you post count. Also the person with -85 wanted people to derep him; he cant be uses as a standard to judge rep... it would be like saying klowns rep is how everyones rep should be.
