No, I wanted to play the english one since I can read everything, it makes it much more fun. I don't mind starting over either. It seems there is a lot of free quartz so I'm definitely gonna not spend money on the game like I did with JPN version (many bad choices there).

I finally have my perfect starting team after a few days of re-rolls, Jeanne and Waver.
