Decided to create an account.

hey. i've been browsing fakku for a long time, and now i finally decided to create an account. mostly because I wanted to check out the forums section of the site. I'm male, studying computer engineering at college. I'm a beginner guitarist. I play video games. I watch anime, read manga, and read books (mostly fiction).

If you have any tips and advice to tell to new members like me, please do so.

1. For the video games, Legend of Zelda of course :D (skyward sword, ocarina of time, and the earlier gameboy releases) Final fantasy (tactics, crystal chronicles), and the first video game I ever played, pokemon. :D Defense of the ancients, too, that game's pretty famous where I came from. If I'd include online games, I'd say dragon nest, flyff, cabal, ragnarok, grand chase, and maplestory.

2. All sorts, actually, so I'll just name a few. ToraDora, Fairy tail, Naruto (lost track, though), K-on (their music is awesome), Lucky star, Gurren Lagann, and so on. Any recommendations? :)

3. My favorite is definitely the HP series. Rowling's awesome :D after those seven, I haven't read much though. Hunger games, The little prince, Percy jackson. Thats about it :D



y..you really like green hair, dont you? I can't think of a green-haired character as of now so.. no, I guess. I am deeply sorry. Some examples to pique my interest, maybe? :D

I got a wii, a ds, and a gameboy emulator on my laptop.
Ocarina of time, in terms of plot. Skyward sword in terms of graphics and gameplay (the wii remote will function as your sword arm, the nunchuk as your shield arm. I like slicing them bokoblins good).

edit: and by swimsuits, I mean the usual blue, school swimsuits. I just dont get it.

Majora's mask for the time mechenic, the masks, character design, and side character development (keifei and anju, the two malons). Twilight princess for main character development midna's backstory was well thought out and her progression from "I don't give a shit about your world" to "I want to protect twilight and your world, as well as Zelda" and her speech about the bueaty of the twilight world really gets to me. windwaker for gameplay it had a very good battle system and puzzles were good battles were epic. Actually after explaining this you can't say one or the others the best. They all got something going for them. That's weird for someone who likes pettanko, school swimsuit and pettanko go hand in hand. O_O wow this post is long

What is with you and going around asking people if they like green hair?

The first underlined phrase, I could not say it better myself. It's nice meeting someone who actually takes gameplay and unique mechanics as important features in a video game; unlike those CoD idiots who keep on blabbing about graphics graphics graphics when judging rpg's like LoZ. You, my dear friend, deserve a statue.

And no, pettanko + schoolgirl is the best combo ever. for me, at least. :D

I can understand that graphics are important to the extent that there is a limit to how crappy graphics can be before I don't play the game. To me it's just poor game quality, and I like my games top quality, which is the reason I play Zelda. But gameplay is what video games are about that's what games should be rated on, instead how HD a game is. If it's sailor uniform I can see were your coming from. No need to give me a statue... A rep up will do ^_^. Lol. I like graphics with more style like skyward sword then realistic graphics like COD. oh and a storyline ^_^. Gotta have a storyline.

Yeah, a nice complex storyline that will come together piece by piece at the key point of the game, forming an overwhelming supernova of awesomeness, nostalgia and goosebumps that gives the gamer a sense of joy and shock that will broaden even the shallowest individual's emotional range of a teaspoon. yes, gotta have a stroyline.
