I've been an avid anime viewer & manga reader since '05. The site has been name dropped before a few times in my circles, so I've been interested in checking out the community for a while, but didn't really get around to it until now. I guess the sensible thing to do here would be to offer some of my taste in anime/manga. For fetishes I can enjoy anything but yaoi and guro.
Anime
Planetes, Serial Experiments Lain, Texnholyze, Gundam (mostly UC stuff), Perfect Blue, Kokoro Connect, Code Geass, Lucky Star, Gurren Lagann, Legend of the Galactic Heroes.
I'm a sucker for romance and anything with mechs, space or military themes and I enjoy the occasional SoL if the humour is good.
Manga
Eden - It's an Endless World, Aku no Hana, Solanin, Parasyte, JoJo, Bokurano, One Piece.
For manga I almost always prefer reading something revolving heavily around philosophical concepts. I do enjoy other stuff though.
I look forward to hanging out here and hopefully making some new friends, seems like a chill place.
