Joined the forum after lurking around for about a month. I'm pretty cool with anything hentai wise. I also collect figures, artbooks, and I like buying hard copies of VN's when I have the money. I am also a huge horror game fan.

what's your favorite VNs and horror games?? I'm just starting to get into VNs personally and horror games are some of my favorite genre to play (though I'm a scaredy cat half the time lol).

I really like the VN's Euphoria, Saya no Uta, Fraternite, School Days. I am a HUGE fan of the Silent Hill games. I prefer psychological horror over survival horror but still play them. I just finished Evil Within.

It looks pretty good from the gameplay I've watched. Sort of reminds me of A wolf umong us meets last of us. Happy to see the director of RE did the game *oh the nostalgia*

I am very excited for the new Silent Hill game. I can't wait to see what Hideo Kojima is going to do with it. I really like reading the theories that are coming out for the game.

Same, I watched the gameplay for the playable teaser and nearly had a heart attack. The last main SH game was slightly disappointing in my opinion compared to previous ones. It was good don't get me wrong, but I felt like it was the game that started to show their lack of ingenuity for creatures lol. I also was a bit disappointed with shattered memories. I think if they had kept it from being part of the SH franchise I would have been happier.... was hoping for a remake of SH 1 and then we get that (-3-)

Regardless though still love the series. What other horror games have you played??



I watched the gameplay for 5 (haven't even bothered with 6 yet), but I didn't think 5 was horrible. I do understand why everyone hated it though, that ending was such a disappointment..... god I felt bad for Wesker. He's such an awesome asshole badass and that's how you're going to end his saga?? Can't say much about 6 yet till I either watch/play it, but yeah the current games have no comparison to it's predecessors.

Only current system I have is my 3ds, but I just play classics as well on an emulated NES. Nothing has really jumped out at me as a must have atm for newer consoles, but hopefully in the new year that changes.

what kind of VN do you play? Do you perhaps play otome games? *O*

I have played quite a few actually. I have played Rule of Rose, Haunting Ground, Outlast, Kuon, and pretty much all of the games in the Fatal Frame series. I never really got into Resident Evil.



I usually stick to hentai VN's and sometimes yaoi VN's. I never really got into otome games.

I'd say try the RE 1 remake and RE0 which is the prequel to the franchise. The best of the series are 2 and 4 though with 4 you'll get sick of your partner in crime Ashley (aka LEOOONNNN!! LEOOONNNN!!). Felt like I had navi from LoZ OT all over again lol.

Oh wow I've played a lot of those games as well, that's pretty awesome. Rule of Rose was so much fun to play growing up as well as Haunting Ground. Happy to see you metioned Kuon, not too many people know that one. Fatal Frame terrified me when I was little, trying to fight ghosts with a camera was an ingenious concept as well as a great fear factor. Haven't played outlast as of yet sadly :/

If you haven't played them you'd probably like the Siren and Clock Tower series from what you've listed above.

Also saw you mentioned yaoi, you ever play/watch Dramatical Murder? The anime is alright, but the VN is pretty good. Nice sex scenes as well as some mindfuck endings (especially if you get the bad ones lol).

I have played Siren and have played the 3rd Clock Tower game. I am still play Siren: Blood Curse right now.



I have also played Dramatical Murder. LOL

It was the first yaoi VN. I want to play Togainu no Chi but my PC will not run it being that it's a older game.
