My dad is fully French, he met my Mum in Paris when she was on a business meeting and then he decided to move to England with her after a few months of dating, got a job, ect. I can speak the language fluently thanks to him; made my GCSE exams easy :)
Euh tRoû fRanglish ouane ? Waoh.
Usually the "rosebifs" bash a lot the frogs and the reverse -- the latent rivalry for who knows how long ^^
Hope your father teaches you how to like real cheeze and real wine as well -- in general real "bonne chaire" or "simple bonne bouffe". He must has (had ?) been miserable facing english cooking. Maybe he's one of those men who like to cook ? Or does he not mind true english cooking ?...
Kidding. But if you're half french, make sure to not suck in cooking ;-P
It's a running joke in my family that my Dad would rather eat dirt than my Mum's cooking (Not in a harsh way, we all love my Mum's cooking but my Dad has been pretty skilled in cooking for quite some time).
We go to France at least once a year to meet relatives so I get the true idea of how wine/cheese should be made ;p
I've also had to deal with a bit of racism over being French as well, one girl recently pushed me into a wall and disloacted my shoulder.
