Thank you and I like all types of anime but, my favorite type would have to be dark and sinister ones with a sad story and yes I did get an avatar it's Gardevoir from Pokemon. :D

Dark and sinister is prolly not one of my favorites, the ones I do like usually do not have a dark and sinister ending at least.

But Black Lagoon, Higurashi no naku koro ni, Elfen Lied, Code geass (maybe?) Blood+ and Ergo Proxy would be a few from possibly that genre.
