hey there folks

It's nice to meet you all - I'm Liase, and I figured I'd make an account because I've been using fakku for quite a while.

I've been into anime since I was pretty young, though my tastes have changed a lot as I got older - the animes I've been watching recently are Mushishi, Evangelion, Welcome to the NHK!, and Black Jack. I like a lot of mecha and sci-fi stuff, and my favorite series is [as you may have guessed by my avi] Ghost in the Shell.

I'm studying to be a nurse and will hopefully be getting my RN very soon. I also draw and some other art stuff that probably isn't worth bragging about.

I'm also a casual gamer - I'm a long-time nintendo fangirl, and I've been getting into the indie scene as of late [just finished bastion a little while ago - I know I'm a little late to the party, but who cares? it was awesome! :>]

Anyway, that's about all I have to say about myself - it's great to be here!

Mushishi and NHK are awesome. Them are definitely my favorites along with Bakemonogatari.

Ghost in the Shell, good stuff (that was the only anime I've seen from that list).

I'm kind of a Nintendo fanboy myself. I enjoy playing other consoles, but I have a sweet spot for Nintendo games.
If you like Nintendo games and Indie games, I would humbly recommend "Might Switch Force".

My music tastes are kind of all over the place, but most of what you'd find on my iPod is classic rock [Beatles, The Who, The Clash], 80's sounding music and electronica [as well as a decent amount of videogame OSTs]. I'd have to say that my favorite group is currently Fitz And The Tantrums, although the Protomen are a very close second [I saw them at PAX East this year - so good!!].

Favorite books would be "The House of God" and "Mount Misery" by Samuel Shem, as well as "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" [Ken Kesey] and "Clan of the Cave Bear" [Jean Auel].

I have a lot of movies I like, but I'm not sure I could pick a favorite out of all of them - I've seen so many!

Haha, same - I've still got my N64 from when I was little - I'd never get rid of it!!

I looked it up, and I really like the art style and the game play mechanic, but unfortunately I have neither a Wii U, nor a 3DS :/

Also, thanks for the well-wishes in nursing; it's a lot of hard work, but I really enjoy it, and I'm looking forward to when I can finally start working.

Off the top of my head, if you're a classic Nintendo fangirl, you like platforming, so go pick up Thomas Was Alone.

Favorite tags would probably be stockings, shimapan, schoolgirl, vanilla, and monstergirl. I looove them monstergirls :> I like ahegao sometimes, but more often then not the faces get a little too "out there" for me.
