Hello, everyone. I've been browsing the manga section of this site for a while now and I figured I'd sign up as a member.

I guess I should talk little bit about myself. I'm an anime fan and I have been for years. I like hentai as well - I mean, obviously. I'm here, right?

My favorite anime series ever is probably Cowboy Bebop - that's such a typical, obvious statement to make, isn't it? I also like old school Gundam and some of the crappy anime shows we used to get here in the states on VHS during the nineties. They are hilarious.

Okay, answers for both of your questions, coming right up.

Preference in music: I'm a record collector. I'll listen to just about anything, really. I have my preferences, but I'm very eclectic.

Elaboration on the old school Gundam thing: One of my favorite anime series is the original Gundam from 1979 and the movie trilogy from it. I also like most of the Universal Century timeline, but I haven't seen Unicorn yet. Most of the stuff in alternate timelines or made within the last decade or so sort of lost me, though.

And a few more miscellaneous details about myself: I'm a 26 year old girl, if the screen name didn't give me away. I collect video games from pretty much every era of gaming. I play guitar and I sort of collect guitars as well.

Which of the old Gundam series is your favorite?

My favorite is the original, but my second favorite is War in the Pocket.

I like Zeta the best in my opinion.

And what was War in the Pocket?

Zeta's great. I don't think it's as flawless as most people seem to, but I still love it.

War in the Pocket was the one with the little kid who befriends a Federation test pilot and a rookie Zeon soldier who's part of a special ops team. It focused more on the characters than the war around them which I thought was a nice change of pace and what few action scenes it had were all great. Especially the last one between the Zaku and the Gundam Alex, which is easily my favorite fight scene in any Gundam series. The fight between the Gundam and the Kampfer was pretty cool too.

I'm pretty sure the rookie Zeon soldier was voiced by David Hayter, the voice of Solid Snake. It sounds nothing like him, though.

I do agree. Zeta has a lot of holes and problems that keep it away from being flawless and makes it look overrated in other people's eyes.

I have heard Gundam Alex but I didn't know what show it was from. I may give it a good watch.
