Hi.
I'm a 23 year old from the UK. Currently working cleaning jobs to support myself.
I spend a fair amount of time writing, although I can't say I really enjoy it. It's more of a tool of expression than actually fun to do itself. I've mostly written screenplays on my intended career path to becoming a film director. I went to a film school several years back and have been making short films since I was 16, so that's my main ambition. Screenwriting is just easier to do with no money and to get down the ideas. I've got some interest from several producers and managed to even get one read by Brad Pitt, but haven't yet made that critical first sale.
I've also spent the last 10 years or so modding games. I'm quite interested in game design as another way of expressing particular ideas, which I think is really what media is for. Entertainment is nice but conveying thoughts or opening a discussion is a lot more powerful and an important thing to try to do.
I play a fair amount of games still, my absolute favourites remain childhood classics like Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Resident Evil 2, Command & Conquer. Mostly now I play other strategy games and some Heroes of the Storm too.
Oh... I also love music so much. Over the last few years I've been trying to develop creating my own, but I can't actually play any intstruments. Just mess around with a MIDI keyboard on a DAW, but I think I'm getting to a level where I can start expressing what I want to reasonable effect. The stuff I mostly love listening to is progressive rock like Genesis, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Pink Floyd etc but I pretty much adore any rock sound with a Hammond organ. Uriah Heep and Deep Purple are just incredible. More modern groups I like are Dream Theater, Ayreon, Transatlantic, Nexus, IQ, Nightwish, Kamelot, Nick Cave and others.
I've been reading Fakku for a few years now. I've just started writing an interactive story and I figure this would be a good place to get feedback. It's the first erotic writing I've ever tried to do, so we'll see how that goes.

FL Studio at the moment. Over the last year or so I've been coming up with "my own sound" I guess, gathering VSTs and samples that I tend to return to often. Sort of going for an electronic prog sound with the Hammond, Mellotron, some funky bass synths, a bit of the Moog (all just VSTs though), overall something spacious. Trying to play around with time signitures at the moment, not that I really understand a whole lot of music theory stuff.
What I'd really love to learn is piano, mostly so I could play the Hammond for real. If ever get a spare few thousands pounds I'll definitely buy one just to hit a chord every now and again and hear that sweet sound. I've got a half decent VST I use but nothing could ever match the real thing. Also just playing cool analogue synths would be great.
At the moment I mostly use the MIDI keyboard for getting down ideas or performing the rhythm stuff I might be able to do. Doing medium tempo solos can be fun too, just gotta keep them from getting too indulgent.
