So I basically joined because I thought you needed to so that you could download manga, yet I still can't figure out how to download any. I don't see any download links at all.

Second, I believe they got rid of the download links...not too sure, but check the comments and there may be a DDL lurking in there.

They didn't get rid of them...they just can't get them to work due to an, as-of-yet un-fixable, server problem. I remember Jacob saying this himself in the Feedback section, but I'm too lazy to dig up the post right now.
Oh, and Welcome to Fakku, OP. Just don't go to IB right now...unless you have some kind of anal insurance.
