[size=12]Well, after making my account a few days ago I decided that I would give a bit of information about myself. I've been slithering around Fakku for a few years now, so naturally I have read a lot of the stuff here. I've just recently gotten the urge to make an account to alleviate the lack of intelligent human contact in my life, which has been going on for about as long as I have been alive. I enjoy most any type of games, though I am less than adept at racing games excluding the original Gran Turismo. I am agnostic, and take particularly great enjoyment tormenting wannabe missionaries. My favourite hobby would have to be reading. 40k lore and philosophical writings are my preferences, but I've been looking to expand my horizons. I have also been getting into visual novels a great deal lately, so any recommendations belonging to either category are welcome. I look for things that illicit emotion in life, positive would be preferred but negative is accepted. As for music.. I listen to most anything, though rap and pop are very low on my list of preferences. Thanks for taking the time to read my introduction![/h]

Existentialism is interesting, and I put much base in it because that is how I myself came about questioning my reality. It comes to mind that if one is satisfied with their life -unless the question is raised by another- they would not think to question their world. Solipsism is also one of the more intriguing schools to me; It is easy to dismiss the notions, but very hard to get them out of your head. I believe the only reason people don't want to believe/recognise the negative theories or possibilities in life is because they don't want to face something so grim. Our minds form an unconscious barrier to protect us from the potential horrors of the universe. I think Lovecraft's writings portray that ideal well, and it is one of the reasons I am drawn to the 40k universe.
