Finally decided to join the community. Nice to meet ya'll, I won't say much. I'm not fussy about anime, games or manga, if you show me something, chances are I'll like it. I don't have much to mention except the fact that I solidly keep up to date with news in the anime industry and my favourite studio would probably be SHAFT. Ciao.

EDIT: Actually I have a question; Where do light novel threads belong? I'm assuming Manga general but I'm just double checking.

Edit: Pertaining to your question - Light novel threads would go in the "Specific Manga Series" Forum, unless its about more than one. if it is, put it in the Anime General Forum.

Have you checked out the latest one? The ending to it was amazing.
Especially afterwards when kaiiki shows really just how cunning he is.
I'm really eager to find out who Ougi Oshino is too, there are three novels to go and I hope Ishiin wraps it up nicely.

I am not sure if by "latest one" you mean novel or anime so

Anime wise: yeah it was amazing in fact I found it too short I wanted much more than was given, but that is a good part to Nisioisin he doesn't oversell characters too quickly he leaves you wanting more, also Nisioisin's manga medaka box has it's first anime tomorrow I plan to watch that too.

Novel wise: no my japanese knowledge is very limited (I can read hiragana and katakana), additionally I speak english, spanish, and french (kinda), but even in english where it is furthest translated it is only translated halfway to suruga's story. so only read up to mayoi, maybe I should skip it and read kizumonogatari which is fully translated.

Anyways pleasure to have you in fakku :)

hopefully katsushi ota gets kodansha box published in english so the world can get the monogatari series in english (just hope it doesn't end like shana where low sales mean the novels were licenced but nothing past volume 2 is getting tranlated)

I meant Koimonogatari, and yeah even if you had a good pool of Kanji, Monogatari can be a serious effort to read.

I was talking about Koimonogatari, though the beginning was a slight disappointment as everyone was expecting a massive Hitagi drama with romance and all, but the first sentence is literally "If you were expecting Hitagi to narrate, you were fooled."
