i say you should draw on paper rather than wasting time with a mouse. you learn next to nothing doodling with a mouse.

I beg to disagree.
With a mouse, I'd suggest using the pen tool rather than draw freehand. It's hard to do long, smooth lines freehand with a mouse.

youre an idiot. if you think you can draw or even remotely good at drawing with a mouse then youre an idiot.
youre either a minor on the site or youre an idiot because any person with sense will know that you cant improve drawing ability with a mouse.

(this is not directed at pi-natsuu in anyway, just the idiot who posted above me. i think pi-natsuu can draw decently well, with practice, if he/she drew on paper rather than with a mouse on the computer.)

Not to make this a hate-fest, but could you please explain why you think that before you spurt nonsense?
I agree that a mouse is harder to master than pencil/tablet, but I have seen a lot of artists who use the mouse as the primary tool. It's very helpful for shading as well. Furthermore, with a vector drawing program, such as Inkscape (The Best), you simply cannot scan a raster in and expect it to scale. However, as you did not actually state any specifics, I have to assume you meant drawing in freehand, which you could be correct about (though inelegant).
Pi-Natsu (nice name), you should look into drawing with vectors, I think you have some talent, and I like to aim people in that direction, regardless of its utility.
